I'm looking for a new mattress and am looking for opinions on what is THE BEST MATTRESS EVER! I'm looking for a mattress with good support for shoulder and neck, that will last a long time, and make me want to sleep in ALL DAY! Do you have an opinion?
Generally speaking memory foam mattresses are state of the art sleeping technology. From a durability standpoint they may be some of the best beds on the market today.

However memory Foam Mattresses are not for everyone.
Latex are even better in the durability department and last even longer. Many are nearly 100 percent all natural or organic and are environmentally much friendlier. No off gassing, great support, and comfy.

You would need to test rest lots of various models and styles to determine which is better for you latex or memory foam, because in the end, you are the one that is going to sleep on it, and that is the only thing that matters. Europeans prefer latex while Americans favor the old mattress and boxspring. You might be asking the wrong people that question….

During mattress and pillow shopping, we couldn't get a straight answer from the salespeople. What is the difference between memory Foam Mattress/pillow and Italian visco? Thanks.
I see where the website www.myfoammattresses.com talks about memory foam and visco, but I don't see any delineation as to what the difference is between the two. Is one just name brand, and the other generic? Thanks.

Sorry I don’t know the cost but I find the people at “the ups store’ are often the most helpful answering phone questions. That said they are usually more expensive than the others.

I know i could hand wash it- but then how would i dry it? He got sick on a pretty large part of it and I would rather just bring it to the laundry mat and throw it in one of their super huge washers and then dry it in a big dryer- will that ruin it? It was a $50 mattress pad- so i don't want it to ruin- please help!!

You could get a Bissell Little Green cleaner/extractor, this works on mattressess and carpets and couches etc. and costs about $75, which could pay off if you need to use it more than once or twice to salvage stained items.

I doubt they would let you put that in the dryer at the laundrymat, they don't even let me do large comforters the place near my house. They might let you wash it but then you would have to bring it home and let it air dry. They might have you dry clean it instead since the foam might ignite with the high heat. Maybe you could call the company who makes the mattress pad…they might have a 1-800# where they can give you advice or info on their website.

My wonderful cat has urnitated on my memory Foam Mattress. Does anyone have a good method of cleaning these? No info came with the mattress for anything other than spot cleaning.

I can only suggest that you call the manufacturer and ask them how to do it. I am not familiar with the Memory Foam, so I wouldn't take a chance, doing the wrong thing. A shirt of jacket is one thing, but a mattress, Well that's another thing .
