Tempurpedic Mattresses are considered the top of the line memory foam mattresses anywhere. Unfortunately, the prices of tempurpedic mattress aren’t considered cheap and many people can’t afford a tempurpedic mattress

It used to be each distributor and dealer of tempurpedic products set their own retail price and if you shopped around hard enough, you may find one that sells relatively cheap or at a discount.

However recently, Tempur-Pedic decided to change its policy. All tempurpedic mattress will be sold at the same retail prices so now it is really pointless to search around for the cheapest tempurpedic mattress.

The reason for this is that Tempur-Pedic wants to assure their customers that no matter where you get their products, it is always the same price and quality. That means no extra benefits added by the dealers such as free shipping, extra pillow, extra tempurpedic mattress topper etc to entice customers to buy. The same rules applies for all dealers.

However, I found sometimes you can get a good deal if you deal with the dealer directly. By directly, I mean going down to their retail store and negotiate with them. Sometimes they may give you a better price, sometimes not. If not, move on to other retail stores that carry tempurpedic mattresses.

Don’t bother trying to call them or visit their web site since they would probably quote you the official prices for it. So the best way is to negotiate with the dealer directly.

The other way to get a cheap tempurpedic mattress is to go on ebay. There are a lot of sellers that sells cheap tempurpedic mattresses on ebay. However, there have been cases where the tempurpedic mattress brought were not of high quality and even worse not tempurpedic at all.

Do your due diligence and check out the seller, check their feedback and see what their previous customers have to say. You can email or phone the seller to make sure they are not selling fake tempurpedic mattresses.

The other alternative to buy other memory foam mattresses instead. Though I still prefer tempurpedic mattress, there are some people who cannot afford the prices.

Now, there are about a dozen different types of memory Foam Mattress sold, probably a lot more than I can count. So how do I get it that is cheap and comparable to tempurpedic mattress?

The only way to know is to test and that means paying a visit to your local retail store and trying it out first before buying. The most important thing is you feel comfortable and make sure there is a free trial or a back money guarantee so that you can always return it if you feel the memory foam mattress does not suit you.

Ok, you know that commercial where a person jumps on the bed, and a wine glass is on it, but it doesn’t fall? Those kind… I think.
Just, ones that you "sink" into. You know; the squishy ones?

I would really not recommend using a mattress made of the memory foam material that you are desiring…it is highly water absorbent therefore if you add up the amount of natural perspiration from numerous night sweats (we all have this) and the amount of years you sleep on the bed then you will eventually realize that your mattress has become infested internally with dangerous mold. For obvious reasons this is very bad for you to be in contact with…this is something that Temperpedic’s commercial fails to bring up and make you aware of because they just want to successfully sell you their "Temporarypedic" product.
***If you truly want a real mattress that doesn’t use a memory foam material however feels just as amazing if not even more AND is better for your back than I would highly recommend buying one from "Beds by Design." This is a small, flourishing business located in Harbor Springs, MI that specializes in manmade mattresses of only the finest and safest materials. Its prices are reasonable and honestly I would have to say I have never slept on anything more amazing than what this store has to offer, really. Unlike Temperpedic, I am not false advertising…Beds by Design is the real deal, honey. I’ve listed the website below so visit it if you’d like and spread the word!

I can’t find a retail store that carries sleeper sofa mattresses to save my life. I’ve found several places online that sell them… but if I don’t like them I’m stuck. No one lets you return them. I’ve done my research and I think I want to go with either a memory foam sofa bed mattress or latex sofa bed mattress. Does anybody have any suggestions as to where I should go?

I was also looking at memory foam and latex sofa bed mattresses. I ended up going with a memory foam as it was cheaper. It is so much more comfortable than the crappy coil sleeper sofa mattress I had in there. In terms of a being able to try one in a store…I was never able to find one. Although I did find two stores that have return policies if you don’t like them.

My wife and I are looking to buy a new queen mattress. We don’t know which would be best for us. memory foam, pillowtop, etc….

We are considering getting a sleep number bed, but are afraid it may not be good overtime.

Also considering memory foam, but that is supposedly warm, and gets saggy.

Also considering pillowtops, but they supposedly sag very easily as well..

I also see many places on craigslist selling beds that are "cosmetic defects" of name brands like seally and stearns and foster. Are these actually "cosmetic defects" or is it a scam?

I am looking for a long lasting bed that is comfortable for my wife and I. I would like it to not shake too much if I am moving while the wife is sleeping. I do not want price to be a part of your opinion, I’m looking for the best type of mattress.

It’s a memory Foam Mattress that is made by Simmons. The Queen set is $2599, but the floor model is $800.

It looks in fine condition. And because its foam and no springs, there is not much "wear and tear". The tag on it says it was manufactured in August 2007.

It’s so comfy, and the price is right, but what if there are STDs in the bed? He says its never been used except on the floor, and so thousands of people could have slept in it. The salesman said, well, when you go to a hotel, the same applies. And it’s a valid point.

I don’t know…..what do you think?

Might try flipping the mattress over and sleeping on the "support foam" side. Memory foam "conforms" . . latex or HD36 polyurethane has more "push back".

Theres foam, memory foam, sprung, latex, etc. Im not sure what is right for me and i dont have time to go to shops and test them out. I want softness and value for money. Id be grateful for your suggestions!
