How do you clean and disinfect and memory foam mattress?

Help!
I have just received a second hand memory Foam Mattress and want to clean and freshen it.

my memory foam pillow says "hand wash cold water with mild soap,hand squeeze excess water & let air dry flat."& "do not put foam in washer or dryer"
sounds like a job in a bathtub + woolite- good luck!
i would try to stuff the thing into a front loader & go!i can see how the top loader might shred the foam, but not the front loader.
memory foam=great stuff-good luck.

    you can not disinfect or clean the foam because it would get all mildew and mold. try spraying some lysol or clorox disinfectant spray let it dry then buy a cover for the mattress, they have them at walmart
