I need to buy a good mattress set. I am concerned about buying a memory foam due to customer complaints?

I do not want one with memory foam or latex. I found a website: chem-tox.com that lists hundreds of health complaints.
What kind of mattress is the next best thing?
My husband also has a bad back.

You can’t go wrong with a Stearns and Foster set, but they can be a little pricy. Soooo worth it though! (I love mine!)

wow, that’s surprising, I have a memory foam, I have no complaints, in fact when my sister visited and tried it out she threatened to take it home with her. The next best thing might be a sleep number bed. they have a website

the memory foam get very hot. my husband and i just got a new king koil with a pillow top. i would recommend anything with a pillow top… to me its more comfortable then memory foam

memory foam sucks after six months.
buy good, it won’t be cheap.
Sealy good choice but not the only.
The choices are endless, but the more you pay the better the mattress.

I loved it but I just bought the cheap o from walmart and put it on top just for the same concern. It’s too expensive and unreliable . I do recommend 1-800-mattresses. Talk to them on the phone and let them counsel you. It’s a shell game but I do trust them, research the stuff and call em back . I’ve been there and they are the cheapest. Now test the stuff at Sleepys, it will have a different name but the guy on the phone will know his comparisons and his prices will be better. I tell, I’ve been there . This is valuable info.
