Foam Mattress

My mother is a nurse. When I was pregnant, I bought a mattress for my son’s crib. She saw it and had a fit. She took it back to the store and got another one because she said the one I had didn’t have enough coils. She said even babies need support.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of 1) memory foam mattresses e.g. tempur and 2) latex mattresses?
