what mattress should i choose – coir, foam, latex, spring etc?

i have back pain. it is made worse after sleeping on the old Foam Mattress which has lost its original shape.

Hard bed is always better. Coir mattress would be the best for your back pain.

I have a select comfort air mattress. When I first got it, I didn't like it. After getting used to it, it provides the best sleep I have ever gotten.

tempur-pedic is a very good mattress that doesn't lose shape and that conforms to your body and is very comfortable…i got one three years ago and it still feels like new and i haven't been able to sleep on anything else since

Get a hard/firm spring mattress & then put a layer of 2 inch thick memory foam on top of it. That way u get the best support & it moulds to your body shapes when u lie on it.

    hi.

well you should always buy orthopedic/ back support mattress. this is available in all three- foam, coir & spring.

coir back support will be little expensive. it'll sag fastest of all three. but it is slightly softer. kurlon, sleepwell & libra brands has variety.

foam back support is most common. it is composed of hi density foam bonded togather as core. this is also called bonded foam mattress.all bigger brands have this product. even local brands like sweet dream etc have this product

spring back support is also available but is more expensive. for example RAHA has this in 8" thickness. if you can afford this & require 8" thickness u can go for this.

latex mattress is limited, as very few brands are selling this. good quality will be very expensive & with no major advantage.

stick to bonded foam or spring mattress.
