Are memory foam mattresses the way to go?

I really need a new mattress and I wanna know if memory foam is the way to go. Its a 10 " memory foam queen mattress. link: http://cgi.ebay.com/10in-QUEEN-MEMORY-FOAM-MATTRESS-TEMPURPEDIC-PILLOW_W0QQitemZ140357443826QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMattresses?hash=item20adf4a0f2 Any other recommendations
I’ve never used one

Ideal would be to go in to various stores in your area where you can feel the different firmness levels offered.

Memory foam does kind of suck you in. It is often described like lying in thick mud.
As far as turning over they can be a little difficult to reposition in, however because of their unique pressure relieving capabilities people don’t move as often. Tossing and turning causes you to be disturbed throughout the night.
Not all memory foam is hot, I would encourage you to do some research for yourself.

I personally HATE memory foam matresses. Have you tried one to see if you like it at all? I like to change position while i sleep and memory foam kind of sucks you in so you cant move. ugh.

I bought mine 2 years ago and love it! It is very comfortable and no noise duringmonet of passion. My only suggestion is to get amattresss cover (around $20 at Target).

Mine is comfortable but too hot. If you’re chilly in bed it would be OK.

Hate them! Very strange and hard and the pressure changes according to the seasons. In cold weather (trying to remember) I think they get harder and when it’s rainy and humid, it gets softer or something. HORRIBLE unless you like a firm mattress. There’s no give or spring like a normal mattress, sort of like sleeping on the floor.
