Do I go for the 8" memory foam or the regular mattress?

I’m getting a queen size bed, which mattress is best? Any reasons for your answer?
Memory foam, while comfy at first, will lose some of its memory after a while and flatten out. It is also quite warm to sleep on….may be nice in cold weather, but can be very uncomfortable in warmer weather or climates, or if you tend to get warm easily.
I’d go with the regular mattress.
