What is the difference between Memory Foam and Italian Visco?

During mattress and pillow shopping, we couldn't get a straight answer from the salespeople. What is the difference between memory Foam Mattress/pillow and Italian visco? Thanks.
I see where the website www.myfoammattresses.com talks about memory foam and visco, but I don't see any delineation as to what the difference is between the two. Is one just name brand, and the other generic? Thanks.
